Beers from Germany – Bitburger Premium Pils and Benediktiner Weissbier
The famous German beer phrase “Bitte ein Bit” is known worldwide among fans of Bitburger Premium Pils. The Bitburger brewery was founded in 1817 in the southern part of the Eifel mountains in Germany. Operating for over seven generations, following this long tradition, Bitburger is one of Germany’s most modern and largest privately-owned breweries. The product range and brewing processes have continuously evolved, but the core values have remained the same: care, love, and passion for brewing.
Bitburger Premium Pils is a German-style pilsner. It is made using local Hallertau hops, Bitburger-certified hops and malts, natural yeast, and Bitburger’s own deep well water. The taste has a characteristic hoppy bitterness, yet is light and elegant. We also have non-alcoholic Bitburger Pils available.

The small town of Ettal in Bavaria is the idyllic home of Benediktiner Weissbräu GmbH and the first Benedictine brewery.
At an altitude of 877 meters above sea level, Benedictine monks have lived, worked, and prayed in the Ettal Monastery for more than 600 years. They take time to absorb all the good from their surroundings and approach all their actions with the utmost care and respect. These same values not only define the lifestyle of the Benedictine monks but also influence the beer-making process.
Today, beer is brewed in Lich, in cooperation between Bitburger Braugruppe and Benediktiner Weissbräu GmbH, following the original Benedictine recipes, using special brewing yeast from the village of Ettal. The brewing process is carefully monitored by master brewers and monks. Benediktiner beer is now exported to more than 50 countries.
